Dozens of International Human Rights organization in the world with famous voice asked Hanoi authorities to implement the commitments they have signed on Civil and Political Rights which include ensuring freedom of speech and expression of the people. The arrest and detention of dissidents character has seriously violated the freedom of speech which had been provided for in Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which Vietnam has signed and committed to respect. This right is also the state constitution, Socialist Republic of Vietnam permits, as provided for in Article 69 of the constitution amended and promulgated since 1992 to date. However, Vietnam's communist government has ignored these commitments and always cite the vague and absurd laws to stifle all voices of the people.
More and more pressure from the International Human Rights organizations forced the Hanoi government to adhere to the fundamental rights of all people. The U.S. government also recently expressed their dissatisfaction before the increased repression of religious activities, the Democrats, dissent through dialogue in the field of Human Rights between the United States Secretary of State Ms. Hillary Clinton with the same responsibilities Mr. Pham Binh Minh new Foreign Minister of Vietnam on the sidelines of meetings of the United Nations in New York recently. The message was broadcast from Washington that the government: the United States will develop relations between the two countries and promote economic development associated with its human rights record in Vietnam. America's interests will be placed on top along with the benefit of the people of Vietnam, not related to the rights and interests of a few individuals or a collective group as party leader and dictator Hanoi authorities have often thought.
