The announcement said that , Pham Chi Dung is an independent journalist and respected advocate for civil society , possessing a Vietnamese valid passport and having visa in Switzerland , at night 1 / 2 was prevented by police at the airport for departure to Geneva .

Mr. Hillel Neuer , executive director of UN Watch in statement : " We are alarmed at the Hanoi government efforts to quell the voice of Chi Dung Pham . Vietnam is violating one of the principles outlined in the review process of the United Nations , which is to ensure the participation of all stakeholders , including non-governmental organizations . So we call on the Human Rights Council and the High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay United Nations to speak out against this brutal violation , and protect the brave human rights activists of Vietnam » .

He is also a strong writer and is a deep pen political commentator , and meanwhile is the PhD degree in economics . Communist Party members from the past 20 years , Pham Chi Dung has caused shocking when publishing « Heart letter defected from the party » in 12/ 2013 and multi-party calling .
In the letter to the Human Rights Council of the United Nations , UN Watch , the workshops and the U.S. State Department as the agency has required Vietnam for trip support , journalist Pham Chi Dung affirmed as a citizen , he did not violate any provisions of any law and was never informed by security authorities that he's not allowed exit .
