Why did Human Rights Committee of the Vietnam in France voice to ask the communist government of Vietnam tear up the report lied about the human rights atrocities and tell the truth about the current human rights of Vietnam ... and why a diplomatic official of Vietnam declared defected Communist Party of Vietnam ... and then apply for political asylum in Switzerland ... ? For years , the human rights situation in Vietnam increasingly deteriorated concernedly ... while The communist government of Vietnam tries to find ways to cover up , and conceal ... even even misleading propaganda and distort all truth . Although a signatory to many conventions , many international instruments relating to human rights ... and has recently been elected to chair the official Human Rights Council of the United Nations ... but human rights in Vietnam seem not only not improved ... which becomes increasingly more severe through mass campaigns of harassment and brutal repression from the government at all levels ... as well as a series of wrongful decree issued by the government in recent years to gag the people in the country ... and hinder people to perform basic freedoms legitimate and their legal ... inherent to be recognized and protected by Vietnam State Constitution and international law .

Dang Xuong Hung , former Vietnam consulate in Geneva from 2008 to 2012 , said that he went to Switzerland today 10/18/2013 and filed for political asylum . With this action , he denounced « tyranny » Hanoi regime , has ' threatened and imprisoned » the activists struggle for democracy and human rights. He hoped that this decision will cause some others to follow .
The former consulate has ever worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam since 1983 and has abandoned the Communist party declared : " Our country has fallen into a comprehensive crisis .
