Lawyer Le Hieu Dang relinquishes Vietnam communist Party

Lawyer Le Hieu Dang, vice chairman of the Advisory Council on Democratic and Law under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Vice Chairman of Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front in HCMC, day 4/12 announced his decision on secession of political organization which he did as member over 40 this year. 

Mr. Le Hieu Dang told VOA Vietnamese language:

"I was in the party for years, also hopes the party will have to change, but now realize that is getting worse, not only changes nothing but also have become deterrent to the development of the country. If I am standing as a member of party, the latter is also responsible. So, I pulled out. Leaving to become a citizen his freedom to fight for the defense of territorial sovereignty, civil rights, human rights, and the environment, which is the real problem of human. Socialism it was as dispersed already in the Soviet Union and then, we continue to follow ... what for" 

I was in the party for years, also hopes the party will have to change, but now realize that is getting worse, not only changes nothing but have become deterrent to the development of the country. 
Mr. Le Hieu Dang is one of the senior members openly express disagreement, criticism of state policies in areas such as sovereignty, human rights, and democracy. 

Public attention to his critical voice from behind the anti-China protests, petition to amend the Constitution of Vietnam intellectuals, and he got the call for the establishment of a political party other than Communist Party. 

Mr. Dang said the amended Constitution by the National Assembly of Vietnam passed last week ignored the recommendations of democratic reform is 'the final straw' forced him to give up the party card , and he did not hesitate decision of hi: 

"I have no hesitation. This is the inevitable result of my article 'Thinking in these days is sick.' For a long time I do not do because waiting for how answering, but now I see that the Congress is so bad when against to the interests of the masses. " 

In a letter on the popular social networking sites currently 4/12, Mr. Dang said 'The Party now is not like before' that '  in fact just be the party of interests groups',' contrary to the interests ethnic interests, the people. ' 

In August this year, former Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for a popular article advocating pluralism, plural parties, democratization of the country.

Hanoi has long been internationally condemned as persecution of dissidents, abused ambiguous regulations of national security as 'propaganda against the state' or 'conspiracy to overthrow the government' to imprisonment of opposition voices. 

The number of those advocating democratic, multi-party claim, or the struggle for human rights in Vietnam captivity is constantly increasing, but this rarely seen among senior party members as Mr. Le Hieu Dang.
