Protesters Hanoi  anniversary of 40th the Paracel naval battle

01/19/2014 Sunday morning , many people have focused on areas monument Ly Thai To - Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi to attend the 40th commemoration China invaded the Paracel and gratitude 74 soldiers Republic of Vietnam who died in the naval battle in 1974 .

In many parts of the world also takes place marches protests and memorial of 40 years naval battle Paracel  . While in Vietnam , the official memorial activities seem to be carried out cautiously and limited despite media were free to discuss this event .

On 1/18 , Chairman of the District People's Committee Hoang Sa posted messages that report apologize that candlelight tribute ceremony Paracel Looking at Danang were canceled because of " the preparatory work yet thoughtful . "
